The Ultimate DriveShaft has proven its benefits as an upgrade for other pedals or along with the Darwins for years. What not many know is that constantly maintain and try to improve the tiny little things on my products in order to create the ultimate tools without compromises.

This current version for Axis pedals has a true hex connection to the pedal along with the possibility to rotate the connection piece independently from the delta-extensions of the DriveShaft in order to adjust the slave footboard height (common problem with older Axis pedals)

The n+1 Beater shares many similarities with the Dynamic Beater which has been proven to work great for various setups. Besides the optic, the main difference is the position of the locking screw that also allows to slide the beater head back and forward. Mainly to adjust the distance and to remain an ideal 90° beater shaft when the beater hits the drumhead. This setup option can be very beneficial when there's no hoop clamp adjustment offered on the pedal. The optional weight (pre-mounted) is hidden behind the beater surface and can be removed without any additional tools.  The n+1 beater is compatible with all optional beater discs.

The Spring Preload Upgrade for all Trick pedals is a simple and effective solution to gain more spring tension within the standard compression spring construction. Especially if your preferred setup uses short beater throw, maximal tension is often not enough and thicker springs have a tendency to break. In combination with the new Bias Rod Upgrade (especially R1 & R2 Version, see below) this upgrade has proven to work absolutely charming and harmonic.

Trick Pro 1-V Spring Preload Upgrade by ACD

- So good that the original brand is trying to copy it - hope you prefer to support the original idea and my small business.

This upgrade has its origin in many requests I have received over a longer period of time. People have experienced that the standard aluminum bias rod can develop a notch on its running surface caused by the ball bearing running and pivoting over the same spot for a longer period of time. This notch can cause a clicking noise in an early stage and, if developed even deeper, it also becomes easy palpable and distracting when playing the pedal. This Bias Rod Upgrade is machined from solid stainless steel offering a hard and permanent smooth running surface for the ball bearing.

The standard version features a straight bias rod and a flat running surface, identical to the stock geometry. R1 & R2 Versions feature a curved running surface that stretches the usually rapidly gain of spring tension during the beater rotation (which can result in a spongy feeling) for a more natural and "tension spring-like" feeling.

If you prefer having a tight spring tension, please consider also checking out the new "Spring Preload Upgrade" (see above) which is an easy and effective solution to gain some extra tension.

3 geometry options:

Standard:

This version features the standard geometry with a flat running surface. This option will give you the standard feeling with an improved and smooth running surface

R1:

This version features a slightly curved running surface that stretches spring reaction (prevent the usual rapidly "spongy" increasing spring tension trick pedals are known for) for a smoother and more harmonic feeling. On top, it offers the ability to play the pedal with a larger beater angle in combination with a more natural feeling pedal.

R2:

This version has a more curved running surface for an even more natural feeling (this version comes even closer to a regular tension spring assembly used by the majority of pedal developers)
